NY Mills, Waterville Win In Glens Falls

It was a good day for the two area teams at the New York State Boy's High School Basketball Championship Tournament in Glens Falls.

In Class C, undefeated Waterville beat Lyons, 66-48 to advance to tomorrow's championship game.

New York Mills advanced to the Class D championship game with a 66-58 overtime win over International Prep at Grover (Buffalo)

The Mills will play for a second straight state title against Bridgehampton on Saturday.

Girls Basketball- Cooperstown vs. Watkins Glenn

The Cooperstown girls beat Watkins Glenn in the NYS semi-finals on Friday, 46-34.  They play Chautauqua Lake on Saturday for the NYS title.
