NEW YORK (AP) — Republican Rob Astorino will be discussing his plans to create jobs in New York State.

The gubernatorial candidate is to address members of the Association for a Better New York at a breakfast meeting in Manhattan on Wednesday. The Westchester County executive will also talk about the budget and taxes.

Polls have consistently shown Gov. Andrew Cuomo well ahead in his bid for a second term.

A Siena College survey released last week shows Cuomo with 56 percent of the vote compared to 27 for Astorino. Green Party candidate Howie Hawkins garnered only seven percent.
