NYC Police Investigating Deaths Of 2 Young Bronx Siblings
NEW YORK (AP) — Police in New York City are investigating the deaths of two toddlers who died just minutes apart.
The New York Police Department says 31-year-old Jade Spencer called 911 around 1:15 a.m. Monday after her boyfriend found her 2-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter unconscious in the family's Bronx apartment. The siblings had been put to bed at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The children were taken to Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx where they were pronounced dead.
According to police, both children had a history of asthma. The cause of death for each toddler is pending.
