NYPGA Awards $12,000 To MVCC

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The New York Propane Gas Association is awarding the MVCC Foundation with $12,000 in scholarships.

Two $3,000 Elbert Stillwaggon Memorial Scholarships will be awarded to students in the Fire Prevention Technology Program, and two $3,000 John Ganey Memorial Scholarships will be awarded to students majoring in the Heating, Air Conditioning, and Technical Services Program.

Faculty at the college will select recipients interested in propane technology, that demonstrate financial need, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5, and attend school full-time, having completed at least 24 credits by their spring semester.
