New York State's Secretary of State Cesar Perales was in Oneida County today to tour the Oneida County Consolidated 911 Emergency Dispatch Call Center. Oneida County was awarded a $600,000 Local Government Efficiency Grant to offset the transitional costs of moving equipment and personnel from separate call centers in Utica, Rome and New Hartford into one consolidated unit under one roof.

The move brings all dispatch centers in Oneida County together to provide efficiency.
