NYSP: Man Pulls Gun in Road Rage incident on Thruway

An Indiana man is accused of threatening another driver with a handgun during a road rage incident on the New York State Thruway.

Chad Rickard, 30, of Fort Wayne, Indiana is alleged to have pointed an semi-automatic handgun at a fellow motorist during the incident on Friday, police said. A state trooper was able to identify the suspect's vehicle and ultimately pulled Richard over without incident near Exit 38, police said.

Richard is charged with possessing a .45 caliber handgun and Menacing, according to release from New York State Police.
