Olczyk Named Utica College Men’s Hockey Assistant

The Utica College men's hockey team has a new assistant coach with a familiar name.

Eddie Olczyk, the son of former NHL player and coach Ed Olczyk, will assist Head Coach Gary Heenan withall facets of the program, including recruiting.

Olczyk comes to UC after playing last season for the Bloomington Thunder of the Southern Professional Hockey League.

Prior to turning pro, Olczyk played four seasons at Division I U-Mass-Amherst.
