One woman is dead and a man and three children are hospitalized following a crash in Syracuse.

Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh says the crash happened on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at about 1:30 in the afternoon.

At least two cars were involved in the crash on Route 57 in Clay, New York and authorities are still investigating the cause.  The woman, who was in the car with the four others who were injured, was thrown into the car's windshield and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

No names have yet been released, pending notification of family members.
