One Injured In Jet Ski Accident On Oneida Lake

Vienna, NY (WIBX) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is investigating a personal watercraft accident that happened on Oneida Lake in the Town of Vienna.

Deputies say 16-year old Michael Betro of New Hartford was attempting to turn his jet ski when he was hit by another jet ski operated by 22-year old Zachary Mahassine of Utica

Mahassine suffered injuries to his arm, neck and chin.

He was treated at the scene and then taken to a Syracuse hospital.

No tickets have been issued at this time.
