One of Oneida County’s Top Ten Most Wanted Arrested

One of Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol's most wanted has finally been captured. 66-year-old Jeffrey Mitchell has been wanted since 2005 for two outstanding Driving While Intoxicated warrants.

Mitchell was listed at #8 on the 2016 'Most Wanted' list and was finally located in the State of Montana. The Sheriff's Office received information from officials from Cascade County, Montana that Mitchell had applied for a fishing license and provided his home address. Per Oneida County's request the Cascade County Sheriff's Office arrested Mitchell and held him in Montana.

Mitchell arrived in Oneida County on Tuesday morning and will appear in Oneida County Court for arraignment today. Mitchell was the final fugitive on the 2016 'Most Wanted' list.
