One Year Remembrance Ceremony Planned For Kurt Wyman

Oriskany, NY (WIBX) - A remembrance ceremony will be held this Thursday, 6/7, to mark the one year anniversary of the death of Deputy Kurt Wyman. It’s scheduled for 8:00 a.m. in front of the Law Enforcement Building at 6065 Judd Road Oriskany.
Organizers say the unveiling of the plaque, renaming the building the “Deputy Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building” will take place at a later date, once the plaque is complete. Wyman was killed in the line of duty on June 7, 2011, during a domestic dispute incident in the Town of Augusta.
