Oneida City Police Investigating Armed Robbery

Oneida City Police are investigating an armed robbery.

The incident took place at around 6:30 Friday morning at Mott’s Place diner on Genesee Street.

Police say a man, who reportedly had a handgun, approached an employee who was reporting to work for the day and stole an undetermined amount of cash from the employee.

He was last seen fleeing on foot.

The suspect is in his mid to late 30s with a scruffy beard.
