Oneida City Police Official Injured During Suspect’s Apprehension

City of Oneida, (WIBX) - Oneida City police arrested a suspect for allegedly stealing merchandise from Advanced Auto in the Glenwood Plaza. Officials also charged, 25-year-old Robert W. Hartwell IV with resisting arrest and 2nd Degree felony assault. According to the report, as officers attempted to take Hartwell into custody, he became unruly, ultimately causing the arresting officer to sustain a knee injury. Hartwell was subsequently committed to Madison County Jail with bail set at $2,500 cash or $5,000 Bond. The officer was treated at the Oneida Health Care Center and released.
