Oneida County Clerk Sandy Deperno has announced major upgrades to their DMV computer system.

The new state-of-the-art system is designed to create a better customer service experience and shorten lines.

The new system was installed last week and officials say it has already reduced issues with the old system which included crashes and poor work flow.

County Clerk Sandy Deperno says, "This was a major priority of mine and the New York Association of County Clerks, where I will soon serve as Vice President."

The county worked with the state to get the new system implemented and has become a model for DMVs around the state.
