Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Oneida County College Corps Internship Program is accepting applications from students and employers for this summer.

According to the Workforce Development Director, David Mathis, last year the program matched 145 interns with 51 employers throughout Oneida County.

Mathis says the program is aimed toward college juniors and seniors who would like to gain valuable work experience in local jobs that pertain to their chosen career.

Interns earn $9 an hour, split between the employer and the county, and work roughly 200 hours.

If you would like to be an intern or employer, applications can be found at ocgov.net.
