Oneida County employees held a drive the week of December 12th to assist the Thea Bowman House.

County Executive Anthony Picente says over 500 county employees donated baby supplies, school supplies and personal items to the drive.

Picente said of the drive “We had a great turnout for the drive and our employees once again showed the spirit of the holiday season and the community spirit they have all year long”

Picente went on to say “These are items the Thea Bowman House has identified as a need and we are grateful to have been able to help. I can’t thank all our employees enough for participating and giving the gift of knowledge and comfort to those in need this holiday season.”

Every employee who donated got to participate in a dress down day last Thursday.
