The Oneida County Health Department says they're ready if a case of of Ebola were to hit the area.

Director Phyllis Ellis says right now, the department is working to alleviate fears and concerns in the community.

Governor Cuomo has unveiled an Ebola Preparedness Plan for New York State that designates eight hospitals to treat potential patients with Ebola.

That includes Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
