Oneida County Jail Inmate Charged With Assault

An inmate at the Oneida County Jail has been arrested for allegedly attacking another inmate.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 36-year old Jamaine Ryder of Brooklyn was charged with assault.

The incident took place in the day room of a Facility Housing Unit.

The victim suffered a broken nose, multiple cuts to the face and severe swelling and bruising.
