The Oneida County Board of Legislators has approved a budget for 2014.

The $375 million spending plan contains a 0% property tax increase.

The budget passed 25-to-1, with Democratic Minority Leader Frank Tallarino casting the lone no vote.

County Executive Anthony Picente was pleased with the vote.

The board also passed a Cyber Bullying Law, which would make bullying via the internet a misdemeanor.

Those found guilty could be fined between $500 and $1,000 and face jail time of up to a year.

A proposal to fund a county Humane Officer was defeated.
