Oneida County Recognizes National Public Health Week
This is National Pubic Health Week in Oneida County.
County Executive Anthony Picente is urging all county residents to adopt a healthier lifestyle and take the necessary steps to reduce the consequences of diseases and injuries.
First established in 1995 by the American Public Health Association, National Public Health Week seeks the support of state and local public health departments as well as other organizations to achieve their goal of raising awareness about various health issues across the country.
During the week, the Health Department will provide public service announcements on local media outlets and post Public Health employee profiles on their Facebook page.
