Oneida County Sheriff Welcomes 21 New Correction Officers

Oriskany, NY (WIBX) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office welcomed 21 new Correction Officers during a graduation ceremony held earlier today. The graduates completed five weeks of intense training at the Commission of Corrections Basic Academy. Six of the recruits are from the Herkimer County Sheriff's Office and 15 of them are from the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.
