Rome, NY (WIBX) - According to Oneida County Sheriff's Office, a Rome man was arrested after resisting arrest and causing injury to a Deputy.

Deputies responded to the Wal-Mart Super Center in the City of Rome, for a disorderly male in the store. Upon arrival they learned that the male, 43-year old Bruce Clark had urinated on the floor near the front of the store and was sexually harassing female employees and customers.

According to deputies, Clark refused to leave the store and was yelling obscenities. After being warned several times to leave the store, Clark was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, a violation. He then began to struggle with the Deputy. As a result of the struggle, the deputy received a shoulder injury and was later treated and released from Rome City Hospital.

Clark was also charged with Assault, a class D Felony and Resisting Arrest a class A misdemeanor.
