Oneida County Sheriff’s Investigate Clown Incident In Trenton

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident involving a clown in the Town of Trenton.

It happened Tuesday night on the hiking trails near the Town Park.  Deputies say a man dressed as a clown jumped out of the bushes and chased two young girls, ages 8 and 11.

The girls were able to run away and call for help.

The clown was a man in his late teens or early 20s, wearing an orange wig with white and red face paint, a grey and white shirt and yellow pants.

Anyone with information on the identity of the clown is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 765-2776.
