Oneida County Sheriff’s Looking For Driver In Hit And Run Accident

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is looking for the driver of a vehicle who left the scene of an accident on Route 233 in Westmoreland.

Deputies say a car driven by 28-year old Courtney Coffey of Rome was rear ended by another vehicle at about 10:00 Wednesday night.

Coffey was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

They say the driver of the blue truck then left the scene. The truck is believed to have front end damage.

Anyone who saw the accident or has information about the driver of the truck is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 736-0141
