Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Holds Corrections Academy Graduation

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office held its 2017 Basic Corrections Academy graduation ceremony on Thursday.

It took place in the auditorium of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

The ceremony is the culmination of eight weeks of intense training for recently hired Oneida County Correction Officers that included classroom lecture, firearms training, physical fitness training, and military drill.

The Correction Officers that graduated this morning included:

• Randall Beavers
• Jason Casale
• Mary Keller
• Ryan Kuc
• Ashley Lindstadt
• Brandon Olsen
• James Quinn
• John Searles

All of the new recruits will be assigned to various shifts at the Oneida County Correctional Facility.
