Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Recognized For Accreditation

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was recognized at Wednesday's County Board of Legislators meeting for the recent New York State Accreditation of the Sheriff's Office Corrections Division.

The Sheriff's Office Civil Division was also formally recognized for their re-accreditation.

The presentation was made by Peter Kehoe, Executive Director of the NYS Sheriff’s Association and Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente

With all divisions of the Sheriff's Office now accredited, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office becomes only the 12th fully accredited Sheriff's Office out of the 60 in the entire state.
