The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is looking for the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect following an incident in the Village of Whitesboro.

According to Sheriff Rob Maciol, deputies responded to the corner of Westmoreland Street and Oriskany Boulevard for the reported robbery at approximately 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that the suspect pushed a 68-year-old male victim who was walking alone to the ground. While on the ground, the suspect took the victims wallet, keys and cell phone.

After the incident the suspect is said to have fled on foot towards Oriskany Boulevard. He's described as a white male in his 20s, wearing all black.
