Oneida County Sheriff’s Vehicle Involved In Accident

An unmarked Oneida County Sheriff's Office vehicle as involved in an accident Tuesday morning in Rome.

Deputies say a car driven by 29-year old Jesse Beltran of Rome collided with the Sheriff's car at the intersection of West Liberty and North Washington Streets.

The operator of the Sheriff's vehicle was taken to the hospital for evaluation and  treatment.

Beltran was not injured.  He was issued traffic summonses for failure to yield right of way and having tinted windows.
