Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Oneida County Office for the Aging and Continuing Care Senior Nutrition and Health Promotion Programs will be hosting a Summer picnic this Thursday, June 23rd, from 11am to 2pm. The event will bring together county agencies that offers Seniors health, wellness and support services. The picnic is taking place at the Clinton Arena in Clinton.

Nutrition Coordinator for the Oneida County Office for the Aging, Carol Allen-Burdick, says this event will be slightly different from past year's events. " There will be some games that they can play, if they play all the games they will win prizes, so it's a little bit different this year from  past years and we just want to see the Seniors come out", Allen-Burdick tells WIBX.

To attend, please call the Oneida County Office for the Aging to make your reservation, their number is 798-5456, extension 4.  Everyone attending is asked to bring a non-persihable food item to be donated to the local food pantry. A boxed lunch will be provided, with a suggested donation of $2.00 for persons under 60 years of age or older and $6.00 for everyone else.
