The Oneida County Stop DWI program is getting a grant from the state Stop DWI Foundation.

The money will help local police agencies operate selective DWI enforcement crackdowns during the holidays.

"These monies will help Oneida County police agencies continue its aggressive approach in keeping our roadways safe," said Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente. "Oneida County remains steadfast in its goal of ridding our roadways of the intoxicated and impaired driver. We urge you to always have a plan to get home safe."

The grant of more than $63,000 was made available through the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee.
