Oneida Man Arrested For Endangering The Welfare Of A Child

An Oneida Man was arrested for assault and endangering the welfare of a child after he allegedly made a 3 year old child stand in a bathtub of scalding hot water as a punishment.

Oneida City Police say Anthony Montgomery, 50, of Lenox Ave was arrested and sent to the Madison County jail on $20,000 cash bail.

The Child suffered second degree burns to his feet and was taken to the Upstate Burn Clinic in Syracuse for treatment.

Montgomery is set to appear in court on March 21, to answer charges.
