Oneida Man Charged In Stabbing Incident

An Oneida man is facing charges stemming from an early morning incident on Phelps Street in Oneida in which two people were stabbed.

Oneida City Police have charged 35-year old Christopher Walrath with two counts of assault and one count of criminal possession of a weapon.

The victims of the alleged stabbing were taken to a Utica hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Walrath was sent to the Madison County jail on $25,000 bail.
