Oneida Nation One Of Four Recipients Of Leading EDGE Award

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Thanks to efforts aimed at boosting our local economy, the Oneida Indian Nation is being honored with the "Mohawk Valley Leading EDGE Award." The nation is one of four recipients being honored with the annual award.

The other honorees are, Black River Systems Company of Utica; Gilroy, Kernan, and Gilroy Insurance of New Hartford, and Mohawk Valley Community College Airframe and Powerplant Technology Program of Rome. In a released statement, Nation CEO, Ray Halbritter said, "The Oneida Nation is proud to be in such good company with this year's Leading EDGE Award recipients. The great work done by these employers to invest and grow jobs shows how well we can do when the region's economic leaders work together for the betterment of our community."

The groups are recognized for growing jobs and investing in the community.
