The Oneida's Yellow Brick Road Casino is getting closer to their June 2nd opening.

While still under construction, this is how the new facility looks from the outside as of May 17th.  The $20 (m) million 67-thousand-square-foot casino will operate in the Tops Plaza in the village and will feature Vegas-style slot machines and a 400-seat Bingo hall.

The new facility being built by the Oneida Nation, owners of the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, will also feature restaurants, a general store, and a country-western bar.

According to Oneida County Executive Tony Picente, Oneida County will benefit from slot games revenue.

“We get the same percentage as Verona since we are the host county of the main agreement; 25% of the states 25%,” he told WIBX.
