Operation Safe Stop Curbing School Bus Accidents

Oneida, NY (WIBX) - Putting an end to school bus fatalities...that's what Mohawk Transportation Supervisors are trying to do.

To that end they are hosting an "Operation Safe Stop" event Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Costello Transportation Center in Oneida.

In the past twelve years 1,386 people have died in bus-related accidents, about 130 of those were children.
