Operation Work Brake Starts Monday

Albany, NY (WIBX) - State Police are telling motorists to put the brakes on speeding.  "Operation Work Brake" starts on Monday, July 9, 2012.

Enforcement efforts are being stepped up to stop speeding through construction zones.

More than 1,354 tickets were issued during last year's campaign, designed to protect construction workers and save lives.
