Orange Rout Fordham In Season Opener

Syracuse, NY (WIBX) – Kris Joseph lead the No.5 Syracuse Orange with 16 points in a season opening 78-53 win over Fordham.
Brandon Triche added nine points and three assists, while Scoop Jardine dropped in seven points and three dimes. James Southerland added seven points off the bench.
Chris Gaston and Bryan Smith each scored 13 points for the Rams.
The Orange forced 18 turnovers against Fordham, but turned the ball over themselves 15 times.
Syracuse host the Manhattan Jaspers on Monday at 7:00.
