They've been serving their famous "upside down" pizza in Utica for a century.
O'Scugnizzo Pizza is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

Elected officials, including Utica Mayor Rob Palmieri, Senator Joe Griffo and Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi, issued proclamations today commemorating the milestone.

Co-owner Mike Burline says it's a big day for his family.

Burline says the name O'Scugnizzo came from the street urchins in Naples, Italy, who were called "scugnizzi".

The Utica Zoo and Union Station are also celebrating their 100th anniversaries this year.
