Oswego County Celebrating Bicentennial

FULTON, N.Y. (AP) — Local artists are invited to participate in the celebration of Oswego County's bicentennial.

The CNY Arts Center in Fulton says artists are being asked to paint historic buildings, waterways, local businesses, and other scenic views around the county during the Fulton Festival of the Arts in mid-August.

Registered plein air artists are asked to donate a completed painting to the center for an auction to raise money for arts programming.

Artists will receive a Plein Air Paint Out booklet, which includes a listing of participating artists and a map of places to paint outdoors.

Registration can be done in person or online at www.cnyartscenter.com .
