The New York State Police Academy held its 206th session graduation ceremony in Albany on Wednesday.

208 new Troopers graduated from the academy following six months of training.

One of the graduates is Trooper Olivia Tabor of Utica, who will be assigned to Troop F in MIddletown.

The new Troopers will report for duty on February 5th,

Governor Andrew Cuomo congratulated the new members of the State Police

"I commend these fine men and women for answering the call and committing to protect their communities and their fellow New Yorkers as members of the New York State Police," said Cuomo. "These new Troopers have dedicated themselves to public service and together, we will continue to make this great state a safer place to live, work, and travel."
