Oxford Rd. In New Hartford Closing This Weekend For Construction

Drivers and residents living on Oxford Road in New Hartford will have to add a couple minutes to get to their weekend destinations.

Construction to repair a sanitary sewer near Sherrill Lane has been scheduled for this weekend, with work taking place on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, traffic along Oxford Road may be reduced to one lane. On Saturday, the road will be closed between Hoffman Road and Sherman Street with a detour in place.

DPW officials say the road will be closed on Saturday morning from seven until noon.
