Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. The end of year holidays wreak havoc on the waistline, but Get Lean guru Warren Honeycutt has some good news. If you indulge responsibly, you can control your weight gain.

Honeycutt, now 62, is a six-time Mr. America finalist who says many Americans consume 5,000 or more calories on Thanksgiving Day alone. That's more than double the recommended daily intake for an adult male.

The advice, proceed with some caution at the table.

'A five-slice of fruit cake contains about 500 calories. That's not a lot of food for 500 calories,' Honeycutt said while joining WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning.
