Pair Charged In Dari Del Robbery

Schuyler, NY (WIBX) – A man and woman are facing robbery charges in connection with a hold up at the Dari Del store on Route 5 in Schuyler.
State Police say a man entered the store at around 1:00 yesterday afternoon, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register.
24-year old Joel Young and 22-year old Christina Sorrentino of Hartwick were arrested after Utica Police spotted a vehiicle
at the intersection of Pond Lane and Albany Street matching the description of a vehicle seen leaving the scene of the robbery.
Young and Sorrentino were both charged with first-degree robbery.
