Pair Charged In Sauquoit Burglary

Sauquoit, NY (WIBX) - Two people are facing charges after a break-in at a home on Paris Hill Road in Sauquoit.

Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies say the homeowner came home yesterday afternoon and found a man inside his bedroom.

A scuffle ensued and the suspect was chased from the home and fled into the woods.

Deputies arrested 25-year old Samantha Cerini of Frankfort at the scene and charged her with burglary.

About seven and half hours later, 20-year old Ronald Ward of Rome was taken into custody at Reilly's Dairy in Sauquoit.

Ward was also charged with burglary.
