Pair Charged With Impersonating Police Officers In Herkimer

A man and woman are facing charges for allegedly impersonating police officers.

Herkimer Police say 30-year old Tiffany Sutton of Richfield Springs and 35-year old Andrew Moraco of Rome knocked on the door of an apartment on the 200 block of North Main Street, claiming to be police officers.

Police say the pair persuaded the tenant to open the door and entered the apartment unlawfully.

Both were charged with criminal impersonation and criminal trespass.
