The news isn't good for the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Carson Palmer.

Cardinal's coach Bruce Arians today announced that the veteran QB tore his ACL in Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.

Palmer will go on season-ending injured reserve, with hopes that he will be ready to play at the start of the 2015 season.

The injury is the same ACL Palmer tore in a 2006 playoff game with the Cincinnati Bengals.
