Palmieri Announces Launch Of Community Banner Program

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri says the city's Community Banner program is launching this week.

Palmieri says the Streetscape Beautification Program calls for the hanging of banners through the city's main street areas

He says the banners will showcase local pride, identify business districts and promote Utica's unique identity with local imagery.

The program is a partnership with CGI Communications and Community Showcase Banners.

The installation of the banners got underway today.
