Palmieri Recognizes National Service

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri joined a nationwide effort to recognize the impact of national service.

Palmieri issued a proclamation today at the Parkway Senior Center.

More than 800 mayors across the country are taking part in the Mayors Day of Recognition for National Service.

Palmieri says AmeriCorps, Senior Corps and Mohawk Valley Regional Volunteers Center members and volunteers serve the city, providng vital services to residents.
