Palmieri To Change The Way CDBG Funding Is Used

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri is changing the way Federal C-D-B-G funding is going to be deployed.

The mayor wants to regenerate specific areas of the city, namely the lower East Side, the West Utica area and Cornhill.

Palmieri is hoping to use the federal funds to spur economic development and improve housing and streetscapes.
