Palmieri To Conduct First Quality Of Life Sweep Of 2015

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri's first Quality of Life Sweep of 2015 is taking place on Wednesday

The Rescue Mission of Utica will join the mayor and his department heads for the second consecutive year.

The sweep will begin at noon at the intersection of Park Avenue and Hopper Street and head south on Park Ave.

Since he took office in 2012, Palmieri and his department heads have conducted Quality of Life Sweeps every Wednesday from April through December.

The sweeps have covered over 222 miles throughout the city.

Neighbors and business owners are invited to join the mayor on his weekly tour of the neighborhood.
